As of mid-August 2026, no kingdom has Generation 8 heroes. Everything below the release-window section comes from private-server leaks, so treat names, kits, and numbers as provisional until Century Games ships them. We'll update this page the day they go live, with verified data in our hero database the same week.
Release window
Hero generations unlock by kingdom age, and tracker data puts Generation 8 at roughly day 519–534 of a kingdom's life. The oldest kingdoms cross that line in September 2026 (the very oldest run about four weeks later than their peers after the 2026 "Kingdom Progress Optimizations" slowdown). Enter your kingdom number in the Server Timeline for your specific estimated date.

Leaked material suggests the usual generational stat jump (about 20% over Generation 7, continuing the established scaling curve) and exclusive gear on the same widget system as every generation since. We won't print leaked skill kits: previous generations' kits changed before release.
How to prepare
- Bank recruitment resources now. Generation launches are the most efficient moment to spend saved hero recruitment currency, and day-one pulls compound through every event that follows.
- Expect the Hero Roulette to move. Since the July 2026 update the Roulette can target the current or previous two generations, so a new generation shifts which heroes are cheaply obtainable. Hold flexible resources.
- Don't over-invest in Gen 7 widgets right before the line moves. Gen 7 stays strong, since generations age slowly in Kingshot, but the marginal widget level on a hero about to be superseded is the first spend to cut.
- Know your date. Kingdoms hit Gen 8 weeks apart, and the timeline tool turns "soon" into a calendar estimate for your kingdom.
What happened at previous generation launches
Generation 7 (Charles, Ava, Wee & Woo) rolled out from the oldest kingdoms on May 25, 2026 and walked down the server list over the following weeks. Expect the same rollout shape: oldest kingdoms first, each cohort on its own schedule. Wee & Woo became the free-to-play meta pick of Gen 7, so watch which Gen 8 hero lands in the accessible acquisition slot. Historically that's where the value is.

Is there an official announcement?
Not yet. The lineup comes from private-server leaks first reported in late July 2026; Century Games typically announces via the official Discord shortly before rollout.
Will Gen 7 heroes become obtainable more easily?
The established pattern says older generations gradually enter cheaper acquisition pools as new ones ship. The specific Gen 8-era changes aren't known yet.
When will this page have real data?
The day Generation 8 goes live. Verified skills and gear land in our hero database, and in the roster tools, the same week.
