Strongest Governor

Seven personal-scoring days, a 250K qualification gate, and a spending decision most players get wrong: the same items score identically in KvK prep two weeks later.

Strongest Governor fills week 2 of each cycle

What it is

Strongest Governor runs the full second week of each 28-day cycle: seven daily stages of personal point-scoring, ranked against your own kingdom and across kingdoms. It replaces Hall of Governors once your kingdom matures, and unlike the alliance events on either side of it, every point here is yours alone. Daily stages score for 24 hours each, and each day pays its own milestones and its own top-1,000 kingdom ranking before everything rolls into the final tallies.

The seven days

DayThemeBiggest single scorers
1City ConstructionTempered Truegold (30,000 pts), Truegold (2,000), Truegold Dust (1,000), speedups (30/min)
2Hero DevelopmentMithril (40,000), Widgets (8,000), Hero Roulette (8,000), Forgehammers (4,000), Mythic shards (3,040)
3Basic Skill UpAdvanced Taming Marks (15,000), Master Emblems (6,000), pet advancements
4Combat TrainingTroop training and promotion, scaling to 49 points per level 11 troop
5–6Repeat stagesSkill and combat themes return with the same scorers
7Hero Development finaleHero scorers again, plus gathering

The mid-week repeat pattern varies a little by server age and event version, so read the live scoring screen before dumping anything big. The anchor days don't move: construction opens the week, hero development runs day 2, and the combat-training days are where free points live.

The 250K gate

Kingdom reward eligibility requires at least 250,000 personal points, and that number is smaller than it looks at these rates. Two Mithril on a hero day is 80,000. Five Advanced Taming Marks on a skill day is 75,000. Three Tempered Truegold on construction day is 90,000, and a single Hero Roulette spin carries you over the line. A mid-game account that hoarded for two weeks clears the gate in two or three deliberate purchases, so treat 250K as the floor you plan for, not a stretch goal.

The decision: this week or KvK prep?

Here's what makes Strongest Governor a trap for hoarders: its point rates are identical to KvK prep two weeks later. Mithril pays 40,000 in both. Advanced Taming Marks pay 15,000 in both. Tempered Truegold, Truegold, roulette spins: same numbers. Spending here buys personal rank only, while the same spend in week 4 buys personal prep points and moves the kingdom-wide total that decides who attacks on battle Saturday. (Alliance Brawl in week 1 pays roughly half these rates, so it stays last in line regardless.)

The split that follows: spend to your targets here, and not a Mithril past them. Clear the 250K gate, take the daily milestones you can reach with cheap scorers, and push ranking only if a top-1,000 kingdom finish is realistically in reach on your server. Everything past that scores just as well in KvK prep and does double duty there. The players who top both leaderboards run this split every cycle; the ones who dump everything in week 2 arrive at KvK prep empty.

Free points, no inventory required

  • Combat-training days score troops you were making anyway. Queue long training batches to complete after the day flips, and promote rather than train fresh where you can, since promotion pays the higher-level rate for a fraction of the time.
  • Speedups score at 30 points per minute on their matching days, so burn build speedups on day 1 and training speedups on combat days, never off-theme.
  • Day 7's gathering component pays for marches you'd send regardless; start long hauls the night before so they land in-window.
  • Daily milestones reset every stage, and the early tiers are cheap. Hitting them all week usually outpays one deep push on a single day.

FAQ

I still see Hall of Governors, not Strongest Governor. Why?

Kingdom age. Young kingdoms run Hall of Governors on the same slot (its first run starts about 6 days after founding), and Strongest Governor takes over as the kingdom matures. The scoring logic in this guide transfers almost unchanged.

What do the rankings actually pay?

Each day's top 1,000 in your kingdom takes stage rewards, the final top 1,000 per kingdom and top 2,000 across kingdoms take the big end-of-event chests (Mythic hero shards and Truegold at the top), and the kingdom-reward tier sits behind the 250,000-point gate.

Is it ever right to dump everything here instead of KvK?

Two cases. Your kingdom sits out KvK this cycle (a matchmaking bye), or you're chasing a cross-kingdom rank where week-2 points are the whole game. Otherwise the identical rates plus KvK's kingdom stakes make week 4 the better home for the deep half of your hoard.
